Alte Hölle is a residential area in the district of Reetzerhütten of the municipality of Wiesenburg/Mark in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark in Brandenburg. Geographical location
The settlement is located about 1.3 km north-northeast of Reetzerhütten and is almost completely surrounded by forest. Only in the west is an open area with a melioration moat, which drains over several strands into a basin northwest of Reetzerhütten. The village is located about 1.3 km away, east of the district of Neuehütten. History The settlement was first mentioned in 1592, when a meadow was reported in the old Helle. It belonged to the estate of Mahlsdorf and in 1716 served as a place to several hosts. In 1791 the name Alte Hölle, Försterhaus, was first published. At that time, a presidential residential house with two other apartments had been built at the Vorwerk Mahlsdorf. This outbuilding consisted of three residential buildings in 1837; in 1858, three residential buildings and eleven farm buildings. It was incorporated into Reetzerhütten in 1928 and was a residential area there from 1931.
